Fraud Alert: Scam Letters Targeting Core Bank Customers

We’ve been made aware of fraudulent letters being mailed to some Core Bank customers. This letter is not from Core Bank.

The letter falsely claims there may have been unauthorized access to your account and directs you to contact a “dedicated representative” using the phone number provided.

If you receive a letter like this:

  • Do not call the number listed in the letter.
  • Do not provide account, Online Banking or personal information.
  • Contact Core Bank directly using a phone number you already know and trust or visit a Core Bank location.

When in doubt, contact us directly before taking action.
