Well Folks, it’s that time of year again, College Football on Saturday, Professional Football on Sunday, and Playoff Baseball to fill every day in between.
This time of year is one of the best times to gather with friends and family to root on your favorite sports teams. What goes well with a fun gathering to root on your favorite team? You guessed it, adult beverages. I wanted to introduce one of Core Banks’s newest clients with one of the best (if not the best) beer, wine, and liquor selections in Lawrence, KS…. Mass Beverage.

Mass Beverage is located at the corner of 31st and Iowa St about two miles south of the KU campus. It has been in operation since 2006.
Ritu and Anup Singh are the new owners and they’ve revitalized the store. The store boasts a walk-in beer fridge with over fifteen (15!) sections filled with craft beer. There are numerous aisles of every liquor imaginable, and the best wine selection I’ve seen! When you walk in, you are greeted and offered help like you are part of the family.
And that’s why they fit in so well with the Core Bank family. There is nothing more important than relationships, and those relationships are what make stories like this happen. We helped Ritu and Anup acquire Mass Beverage with the help of an SBA loan. They are both passionate about their work and their industry. We’re so grateful to have clients doing work that they love.
