Core Bank Cares is an internal program that makes up to $100 available to each Core Bank employee to donate to the charity of their choice. The Kansas City Core Bank team pooled their Core Bank Cares Funds with funds that were already in our charity account. We will be donating those funds to the Foundation 4 Domestic Violence Prevention (Foundation4DVP).
Foundation4DVP
The mission of Foundation4DVP is to educate teens and pre-teens about domestic violence in order to significantly reduce future incidents of every type of domestic violence. Foundation4DVP speaks about domestic violence in the community, holds events to celebrate survivors and creates programming that develops self-worth.
Foundation4DVP was founded in 2012 by two sisters with the desire to educate 4th to 8th graders about self-worth, identifying core values and setting boundaries aligned with those values. The underlying belief is that education is the key to eradicating domestic violence.
We’re proud to assist Foundation4DVP as they work tirelessly to move in the direction of a world where future generations can live in a world free of domestic violence!
