Delight in a fun, friendly, and inviting experience inside The Dapper Doughnut, a shop that offers made-to-order mini doughnuts with your choice of twenty-one toppings as well as their signature doughnut milkshake. Franchised-owned by Robert Chavez, The Dapper Doughnut, began in 2019 with his passion for business and doughnuts. After researching and attending the franchise Discovery Day, he started The Dapper Doughnut business in Omaha. Chavez likes that the doughnuts are made fresh and that there is no waste in making the doughnuts.
“We like to create smiles,” Chavez said. The staff warmly greets customers then ask if they have visited before and are offered samples of the cinnamon sugar doughnuts. Then visitors choose their toppings and can watch the creation process of their doughnuts and drinks from the counter. Served hot, fresh, and topped with a variety of toppings, every one of their mini doughnuts is custom-made. The bite-sized Dapper Doughnuts are excellent for breakfast or a treat.
For the Omaha store, there are five special flavors not listed on the official menu that Chavez and the staff created:
- Sticky Pretzel
- Caramel Apple Pie
- Maple Glazed
- Cinnamon Roll
- Caramel Chocolate Pecan
Popular doughnut toppings for adults are Bananas Foster, Nutella Dream, and Funnel Cake. Kids enjoy the Birthday Cake, Fruity Pebbles and Chocolate Sprinkles flavors.
Chavez’s favorite topping is the Bananas Foster, but he will have the Cinnamon Sugar with his coffee in the morning.
The menu also offers a variety of coffee, blended drinks, and refreshers and customers can requ
est their favorite doughnut flavor as a milkshake. Their signature doughnut milkshakes include four donuts blended in creamy vanilla ice cream with additional toppings and then two cinnamon sugar donuts slid onto the straw.

The Dapper Doughnut is located off 168th and Q, which Chavez chose as he likes being in the area that he lives in and knows the community. He uses Core Bank’s services for his business to help with deposits and payroll. He said not only is the Core Bank location accessible, as the branch he uses is a neighbor of The Dapper Doughnut, but it is a good partnership to have with the friendly service that is there for him.
There are ten people on The Dapper Doughnut staff, but they are currently hiring. While The Dapper Doughnut shop is charming, you do not have to visit directly to enjoy their special mini doughnuts. They will deliver and cater for events around Omaha and will collaborate with the customer outside of the Omaha Metro. Dapper Doughnuts is a creative way to have donuts for any celebration. Chavez shared that they cater for many weddings.
