Core Bank held our Second Annual Core Bank Cares Golf Tournament on July 17 at Tiburon Golf Club. The goal of this tournament was to raise money for Humble & Kind, which is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing vital support to families in the Omaha community during times of extreme circumstances. Their mission is to bridge the gaps faced by individuals in dire need, offering swift assistance to those who cannot afford to wait on lengthy waitlists. Humble & Kind specializes in providing emergency meals, new parent support, clothing assistance, and home basics.
$10,000 was raised through registrations, sponsorships, course games, and raffle ticket sales. Thank you to all of the amazing supporters of this event.
On July 26 we presented the donation to the Humble and Kind team. Hannah Holguin, Executive Director at Humble & Kind said “$10,000 is such a game changer for us! We are actively working to move into a much larger space. We currently occupy 600 square feet in Southroads Mall. Due to the growth in need but thankfully, also support, we are looking to move into a 3,000-square-foot space. It will be such a blessing to have the funds to not only help cover the costs associated with a larger space, but also help create a space that’s functional, welcoming, and effective!”
