As presenting sponsor of SHARE Omaha’s #GivingTuesday402, Core Bank invites you to be a part of our community-wide commitment to rebuilding, revitalizing and helping power solutions this giving season.
Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, is coming up on November 30. Here in the Omaha metro, it’s time to be counted among those who are doing what’s needed. Join us on November 30th in giving all we can to hundreds of local nonprofits.
John Sorrell, president and CEO of Core Bank said, “With our leadership for #GivingTuesday402, Core Bank is striving to be so much more than a bank. We are creating a better future for our families and local nonprofits. Core Bank is all in – with our dollars and with our service – for the good of the Omaha metro.”
SHARE Omaha is proud to organize the metro’s Giving Tuesday campaign to be held in conjunction with the global day on November 30, 2021. With its unique, year-round community platform of giving, for the third year SHARE Omaha will power efforts to energize people to give together, do together and share together for Giving Tuesday. Marjorie Maas, SHARE Omaha executive director said, “After two years of an uphill battle, our local nonprofits especially need dollars as they plan for 2022. We are lifting up #GivingTuesday402 in the Omaha metro to help these amazing organizations.”
Throughout the past several years, the Omaha metro has doubled its giving on this day. In 2018, the metro raised about a half a million dollars together. In 2019 — when SHARE Omaha launched #GivingTuesday402 — we all raised $1.69 million. And in 2020, our community took it to another level, collectively raising $3.16 million. When we all give a little bit, we can accomplish so much together for the vital nonprofit organizations who enrich our lives.
Individuals, businesses, organizations and neighborhoods can all participate. Gifts can be made through SHAREomaha.org starting now using donation code GIVINGTUESDAY and the platform can be used to connect with a nonprofit to volunteer or provide needed items. You can also explore organizations needing virtual volunteers, or join co-workers, neighbors and friends to do acts of kindness. SHARE Omaha does not have processing fees of their own however, it uses PayPal to process donations safely and the donor can “tip” the PayPal fees back to the organization.
Visit SHAREomaha.org to plan your #GivingTuesday402 generosity or do good today! Please join us on November 30, as our hearts and hands do all we can for one another.
