Core Bank employees recently took part in the American Cancer Society’s Douglas County Relay for Life event, raising funds and awareness to fight back against cancer. The bank’s relay team walked to remember those who have lost their fight and honor survivors and those still bravely fighting.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites 5,200 communities across 20 countries to help save lives.
As a proud sponsor of the event, Core Bank was able to donate over $5,000 to help take a stand again a disease that has taken too much from too many. In total, the Douglas County Relay For Life event raised over $120,000 for the American Cancer Society.
