Core Bank is proud to be a sponsor of the Lutheran Family Services of Nebraska and the Center for Healthy Families Annual Diaper Derby!
Each of our banking centers is a designated drop-off site for diaper donations throughout the metro. We’re encouraging our employees and customers to take part in this wonderful drive, as well.
The goal this year is 100,000 diapers. Donations of diapers (any brand), cash gifts and coupons for diapers are accepted and greatly appreciated. The Diaper Derby runs until May 8, 2016 (Mother’s Day).
The Center for Healthy Families provide early intervention and prevention services aimed at reducing child abuse and neglect among at-risk families. Participating families must be pregnant or parenting a child under the age of five. The Centers encourages healthy behaviors by providing needed child-care essentials, such as diapers, car seats and Pack-N-Plays. Parents “purchase” these new items with points earned by completing healthy parenting activities.
